Trackers
Cookie policy
This site uses no cookies at all. That isn't a turn of phrase: it's a technical decision taken at the design stage.
A consent banner is only required when a site sets trackers that aren't strictly necessary. Since we set none, there's nothing to consent to and therefore nothing to click before reading the site.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a site, allowing you to be recognised from one visit to the next. The same logic applies to equivalent technologies: invisible pixels, browser local storage, device fingerprinting.
What we don't do
- No cookies, no local storage, no browser fingerprinting
- No analytics tool: no Google Analytics or equivalent
- No advertising pixel, no retargeting tool
- No embedded social sharing button, no video embedded from a third-party platform
- No typeface loaded from a third-party server: they're hosted alongside the site
In other words, browsing this site transmits no data about you to any third-party company.
What the server records anyway
Like any web server, our hosting provider keeps technical logs containing the IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and the browser used. These logs serve solely for security and technical diagnostics. They aren't used to follow you, aren't cross-referenced with other sources and aren't used for any profiling. They aren't cookies and they don't require your prior consent.
The WhatsApp links
The WhatsApp buttons on this site are simple links: nothing is loaded from WhatsApp's servers unless you click. If you do click, you leave our site and WhatsApp's terms then apply. This point is detailed in our privacy policy.
If that were to change
If we ever added an analytics tool or a third-party service, this page would be updated and a compliant consent mechanism would be put in place before anything was set, allowing refusal just as easily as acceptance.
